What this service is
Dallas Air & Heating is a free referral phone line for the Dallas-Fort Worth area. When you call, an automated assistant answers, takes your details and transfers you to an independent, locally owned heating and air conditioning company that serves your area. Dallas Air & Heating does not perform heating or air conditioning work, does not employ technicians, does not send anyone to your property and holds no HVAC contractor license.
Your agreement is with the company you hire
The company you are connected with is an independent business. It diagnoses the problem, sets its own prices, gives you any estimate, schedules and performs the work, and is responsible for it. Any warranty, payment terms or cancellation policy is between you and that company and should be given to you in writing. Dallas Air & Heating is not a party to that agreement and does not quote, schedule, supervise or stand behind any work.
You are never required to hire the company you are connected with.
No charge to you, and the referral fee
There is no charge for calling or for being connected. The companies we connect callers with may pay Dallas Air & Heating a referral fee. The line does not set or add to the price any company quotes you.
Licensing and insurance are yours to check
Texas licenses air conditioning and refrigeration contractors through the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR). Dallas Air & Heating makes no representation that any company is licensed, insured or qualified for a particular job. Before hiring, ask the company for its TDLR license number and look it up on the TDLR license search (opens in a new tab), and ask for a certificate of insurance.
Information you give us
When you call, we pass the details you provide to the independent company your call is transferred to so it can contact you. When you send the request form on the contact page, we pass what you typed to an independent local company so it can call you back. Please give accurate details and a number you will answer.
